September at the Reef

Tiki goddess Pele is alive inside the volcanoes on Hawaii's Kohala Coast. Here you'll find the prolific Kilauea, an active volcano which produces enough lava to resurface a 20 mile, two lane road every single day. The lava starts off blisteringly molten and hot at the top, and slowly flows towards the sea where it eventually cools and hardens. Such is the flow of the summer months as the molten hot days of July and August cool into the perfectly warm evenings of September, warm and breezy. Come enjoy a mojito with handpicked mint and fresh squeezed lime underneath the blue sky canvassing out rooftop patio, and maybe stay for some Tiki Tacos or even a Jamaican Half Jerk chicken.

This month Reef welcomes a slew of great artists. Friday Blu takes the stage for a conscious hip hop showcase that will start your weekend off right. If reggae's your thing come in for One Drop on Saturday the 6th and remember to come back on the 20th for Dewey and the Peoples. The one and only Pilot Error had so much fun packing the house last month they'll be coming back on Saturday the 13th. Check out all of our offerings at ReefBoise.com.

Reef is officially ten years old and to honor this volcanically momentous milestone, we're throwing a huge party in honor of your favorite tropical escape. We're bringing in some of our famous bartenders from back in the day for one night only, we'll have some retro food specials, and most importantly we're inviting everyone who's helped in our success through the years, that means YOU! The party goes all evening long on September 21st and will culminate with the final We Out Here! rooftop DJ party of the season from 10pm to close.
